Using project boards for task management

I agree… I’m trying to manage tasks that already have GitHub items associated, and while the Project Board is nice it still takes quite a bit to become an ongoing asset. I can create multiple JSON files, merge them, and then import them into another tool like Excel to show management what issues the folks are working on, but it is cumbersome at best. Ultimately I need a GANTT / Team Planner type view and it would be nice to not need to do 7 or 8 steps along the way when all the data is right there (and yes, the Project Board helps, but the need is to compare various moments in time (histogram)).
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated, Matt
